Bek & Rob had their fantastically unique Wedding in the hinterland of Byron Bay. Their Wedding was not only awesome, different and quirky – But it was true, real and emotive, too. They put a lot of effort into the look but you could tell the entire day was about more than just the two of them – It was about their guests, family and friends, too. They had everything laid out perfectly – From food, drinks, entertainment and something a little different to most weddings; games! The ceremony was unlike none other, too – Held on their organic avocado farm in Tuckombil they said their vows to each other in whispers, underneath the lines of trees within a circle of rose petals.
The reception was no different – Including fireworks, carnival styled lighting, giant bonfires and even a Spanish singer / guitarist serenading them into the sunset. It may sound a bit like a fairytale and if you were there, you’d think it was, too. The entire day and night was heavily influenced by Bek herself – Being an artist by trade, she knew exactly how she wanted everything, right down to the angle that their old giant tractor was placed. Fantastic! Even the dinner menu wasn’t traditional – Forgoing a typical menu, they instead went with their own tastes and had an entirely vegetarian menu that was an absolute hit with guests. They rounded the menu and night off with an open sweets table for everyone and of course, a photo-booth for a bit of fun (supplied by yours truly!).
All in all, the entire day was absolutely amazing and I’m so thankful I was there to be a part of it and document it. For a list of vendors and some more detailed information be sure to check out the superb article and feature from the girls over at the Ruffled Blog – Click Here!
