It is pretty typical to say I’m surrounded by love everyday, when I work in the field and industry I do. But what makes each day different, seems to vary from couple to couple. This particular Wedding was so different, though.. And I can assure you, it had nothing to do with the physicality of it, either.
Sure, I could say it was different because Alister wore the coolest Tux ever and wasn’t afraid to rock out a blue steel stare that would make even Ben Stiller blush. I could say it was different because of the plethora of originality Rachel fed into every aspect of the Wedding; down to the personally hand-crafted table settings, candy-bar, button bouquets, buttoneires or even the Wedding Tree that she designed and painted herself.
I could even say it was different because she wore high heels with a cut-throat razor / dripping blood design on the side… No joke. Or the fact that every little trinket both her and Alister wore was ordered off of Etsy.com.. You get it; I could say a lot, physically, that made this Wedding wondrous, in so many ways.. But that isn’t what made Jacinta tear up or my heart skip a beat and yearn to be married myself.. Mhmm.
It was them, together. It was Alister not being able to take his eyes off Rachel the entire Ceremony. It was them laughing together, when no one else was watching. And yes, it was them, with their eyes open, while everyone else had them closed, praying during a speech. (Sorry, you guys’ll probably get in trouble for that.)
I was truly honored to witness this day… As cheesy as that sounds, it’s true. You are both very, very lucky people. Enjoy your sneak-peak,

Ps. Keegan.. Thanks for rocking that dance-floor, buddy!
